Simprop Electronic Piaggio Avanti P-180
Simprop Electronic Piaggio Avanti P-180
By Don Sims
There have been a lot of semi scale sports planes hitting the market in recent months and one of the nicest looking is the Piaggio Avanti imported by Hobby-Lobby. This plane is made by Simprop and like its namesake the Avanti is a twin pusher with a canard wing plus it has two other lifting surfaces.

Sonic Liner by Multiplex
Sonic Liner by Multiplex
By Michael Heer
Multiplex describes the Sonic Liner as: "The model of the Future." They have made a plane today based on concepts discussed and drawn by aircraft manufacturers of designs that might be seen in airliners in thirty or fifty years and they have captured that beautifully. The Sonic Liner is made of resilient Elapor and with its Delta wing and forward positioned stabilizer/elevator: "These ideas are now reality - today you can fly into the future."

Kyosho ZERO Review
Kyosho ZERO Review
By Fitz Walker
ZERO! This one word would usually strike fear in the hearts of men. OK, well, maybe 60 years ago, now most peoples' thoughts would be of those fragile planes used by foolish young men in Kamikaze attacks. Certainly not an auspicious end to one of the war’s most numerous and revolutionary war bird designs.

Flutterbipe
Flutterbipe
By Martin Hunter
They say variety is the spice of life. When I go out flying, I like to take a few planes along that fly vastly different from each other but are equally entertaining. Well, to my great satisfaction, the Flutterbipe flies unlike anything I’ve ever flown before.

Modesto Fun Fly
Modesto Fun Fly
By Michael Heer
This was the Third Annual Electric Fun Fly held by the Modesto Radio Control Club and it will be the only time we hold a big Fun Fly in July! The main story was the flying but it easily could have been the heat and wind. Those of us who live in California's Central Valley are used to hot days but a lot of our flying friends, especially those from the Bay Area are not.

Great Planes Triton
Great Planes Triton
By JTinCT
Great Plane’s Electrifly division released the Triton last year just about the time the new lithium polymer batteries hit the market. It has been time tested for over a year now and is still one of the best selling chargers on the market. After reading this review you will understand why.

Recurring Charge - November 2003
Recurring Charge - November 2003
By Bernard Cawley
As many of us are climbing up the lithium-polymer battery learning curve, one of the big questions remains how to get the right charge into them safely and what chargers are suitable. This time, rather than cover another aspect of charger operation separately, I thought I'd provide a look at several lithium charging solutions that are currently available.

Climax Models Axon
Climax Models Axon
By Martin Hunter
The announcement of the Axon by www.cl-i-max.com immediately had my attention due to the sleek lines and overall graceful beauty of the flowing airframe. I knew I had to have one. Upon completion of the kit and finding out just how well she flies, I couldn’t be more impressed. As a kit, the Axon goes together in a very short period of time. The end product is a very strong, sleek looking, and fantastically fun flying plane.
